This month we are delighted to welcome Chris Leggat, Commercial Director of Douglas Laing & Co, Anita Clark, co-founder & MD of Jenier Teas and Tom Lewis, owner of Mhor:
Chris Leggat joined Douglas Laing & Co in 2013, continuing an impressive and varied career in the drinks industry. A young restaurant manager at Glasgow institution “The Rogano”, Chris went on to become Brand Ambassador at Tennents, followed by Scotland Sales Manager at Cellar Trends. His passion for whisky then took him to Morrison Bowmore Distillers and Suntory where he looked after the European markets as Regional Sales Manager, before he joined Douglas Laing as Head of Global Sales and Commerce.
Anita Clark is driving forward her company, Jenier Ltd, which imports, manufactures, packages and resells high quality teas, tea wares and gifts directly to the food sector trade customers and to consumers alike via their e-commerce website. Her company now exports to India, China, Turkey, Sweden, South Africa, Belgium, Spain and has plans to further expand.
Tom’s company, The Mhor collection is a series of boutique, stylish, rural places to stay, eat and make merry – all with a dash of pizzazz in Scotland and France. The collection includes Monachyle Mhor, Mhor 84, Mhor Fish, Mhor Bread and Mhor in France.
