This month we are welcoming Diarmaid Lawlor, Head of Urbanism, Architecture & Design Scotland and Keith Anderson, Chief Executive, Port of Leith Housing Association to address our guests. Brief resumes below:

Architecture & Design Scotland work to promote the value good architecture and sustainable design adds to everyone’s lives. Their role is to help people – whether by enabling them to get more involved by shaping the places they live in or improving the design of the buildings they use. Well-designed buildings and places make the very best use of our resources and create places that help people and communities to flourish.

Diarmaid leads the Urbanism programme at Architecture & Design on Scotland, whose focus is on sustainable urban form and function, informing policy, programmes and projects. An urbanist, with a multi-disciplinary background, he has worked on projects involving the shaping and implementing of change for clients in Ireland, the UK and Europe, for the public, private and third sectors.
