Architecture & Design Scotland work to promote the value good architecture and sustainable design adds to everyone’s lives. Their role is to help people – whether by enabling them to get more involved by shaping the places they live in or improving the design of the buildings they use. Well-designed buildings and places make the very best use of our resources and create places that help people and communities to flourish.

Diarmaid leads the Urbanism programme at Architecture & Design on Scotland, whose focus is on sustainable urban form and function, informing policy, programmes and projects. An urbanist, with a multi-disciplinary background, he has worked on projects involving the shaping and implementing of change for clients in Ireland, the UK and Europe, for the public, private and third sectors.

Port of Leith’s mission is to create a range of quality homes within neighbourhoods that are great places in which to live. Since 1975, they have invested over £190m in the ongoing regeneration of Leith and North Edinburgh.

Keith Anderson joined the Association in 2009. Formerly Director of Edinburgh Waterfront Partnership and previously Head of Housing Development and Finance with the City of Edinburgh Council. Keith has 34 years of experience in housing and regeneration.
