Highlander was created from a passion for adventure and the outdoors. Founded in Edinburgh in 1985, they remain a Scottish based and family-owned organisation. They specialise in outdoor and military equipment, focusing on great products at affordable prices.
Innovation is at the centre of Highlander’s ethos. They dedicate their passion to designing and manufacturing all the gear you need for camping, walking, military pursuits and survival. As they are based in Scotland the design team regularly test the products in extreme weather.
In 2012 they secured the contract to supply the London 2012 Olympics with official merchandise.
Kristine set up the family outdoor gear supplier, Team Magnus, from her Perth base in 2010 and since then the company has gone from strength to strength.
Team Magnus provides clever, innovative kit for families who get out early and stay out late. Magnus was three when he moved from Norway to Scotland and he didn’t know much English. He did however have some great Scandinavian kit, and his new friends were forever having shots.
That little posse became the first product testers. They finessed the Bulldog bat balance bike. They tweaked the Tundra wolf sledge. They drew up the spec list for the Devilfish slip and slide. They are Team Magnus.
